Dr. Nathan J Cleaver D.O., FAOCD, FAAD is the Cleaver Medical Group's board certified dermatologist.  In addition to his expertise in complex medical dermatology, Dr. Cleaver has performed fellowships with additional certifications in both dermatopathology and Mohs micrographic surgery.  Nathan J. Cleaver D.O. completed his dermatopathology fellowship at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York, New York, a fellowship and institution known both nationally and internationally for its excellence in dermatopathology.


After the completion of his dermatopathology fellowship, Dr. Cleaver went onto complete a Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Missouri.  He completed his dermatology residency, where he served as chief resident, at Michigan State University - St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Dr. Cleaver completed his internship at the St. John Health System in 2011 located in Oakland County, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.  He received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, located in Kirksville, Missouri.  Dr. Cleaver's professional interests include cutaneous oncology, analysis and management of pigmented lesions and melanoma, and tropical and infectious dermatology and dermatopathology.


During his residency, he spent a month in southern Africa practicing dermatology in both urban and rural settings, servicing for a month as the only public dermatologist in the country of Botswana.  He has authored chapters in textbooks, numerous articles in scientific journals, as well as national presentations to his peers in the dermatology community.  One of his most rewarding professional experiences is his position as an associate profession for Northeast Regional Medical Center's dermatology residency program, teaching weekly didactic dermatopathology sessions for dermatology residents both locally and nationally.

Dr. Weston T. Waxweiler M.D., FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist.  Dr. Waxweiler is originally from Duluth GA and graduated from Duluth High School.  He completed his undergraduate degree with honors at Davidson College on a full-scholarship.  While an undergraduate, Dr. Waxweiler developed a desire to practice medicine while working on a medical study-abroad trip in Kikuyu, Kenya. 


He then went on to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia where he graduated with honors as well. Before graduating, Dr. Waxweiler spent a year studying melanoma at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill as a Doris Duke Fellow.  He then moved to Denver Colorado to complete his internship with his little brother at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. Finally, Dr. Waxweiler completed his dermatologic residency at the University of California Irvine where he gained extensive experience with skin cancer, pediatric dermatology, and cosmetics.  


Dr. Waxweiler has authored articles in scientific journals, chapters in textbooks, in addition to abstracts at dermatologic symposiums.  He enjoys learning about the latest developments in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and looks forward to bringing these to his patient population.  


When not working he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, travel, and reading.  Dr. Waxweiler looks forward to continuing to serve the dermatologic needs of his hometown for years to come.

Dr. Anna Woodson is a native of Mississippi. She graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University. She attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She then completed a pediatric residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She completed her dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University, where she served as chief resident during her training. She
has had over 13 years of dermatology experience.


Dr. Woodson is a board-certified dermatologist. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. She has extensive training in medical, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.


Dr. Woodson is a new addition to Cleaver Medical Group. She is committed to providing comprehensive skincare, and she is dedicated to being responsive to patients’ needs. When she is not with her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Rebecca is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and native of Toccoa, Georgia.  She graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 2011 with her Associate of Science in Nursing.  She has over 10 years of experience in healthcare and worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Surgical Services.  She graduated summa cum laude from Jacksonville State University in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  In 2019, Rebecca graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Master of Science in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner.  She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.  


Rebecca joined CMG in July 2020 and became our full-time provider at our Toccoa location in August 2021.

Abby Wiseley, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant and joined CMG in July 2021. She
was born in Roswell GA but moved to Columbus GA in her teens, where she graduated from
Brookstone School. She went on to graduate summa cum laude from the College of Charleston
in Charleston, SC with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. After college, Abby returned to
Columbus GA where she gained experience working as a medical assistant in a dermatology
practice. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the
Medical University of South Carolina in 2019. After graduating, Abby worked in primary care for
a year and a half before joining CMG.

Abby enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new areas of Atlanta.
